Guest blog: Renée Turner shares why she keeps on coming back to my Business Club

I was just reminiscing and realised that my business, Renée Turner Interiors, will be celebrating its first birthday in August. Then I realised that this milestone actually coincides with attending my first ever networking event hosted by Niki Hutchison. I really have to say that my business has taken off far more quickly than I expected. And part of that is due to the amazing network support group that Niki has created with some amazing women attending regularly.

I have attended every event since then because Niki invites really inspirational and lovely speakers. These women have put in the hard yards and their stories are just so wonderful to listen to. It can actually get quite emotional because you can just feel how passionate these entrepreneurs are. They are also more than happy to give you some really useful tips that I have already put into practice – and these have been successful! Some of the standout speakers have included Erica Moore of EteaketJojo Fraser, Kylie Reid of EGG, Laura Thomas of Laura Thomas Co., Amy Hutchison of Bibo Wines & Events, Danni Gordon of Chachi Power Project and Ailsa Graham of Flamingo Fair Social to name just a few.

However, I will always be indebted to Erica Moore who gave me my first big break redesigning her Eteaket Tea Rooms. I would not have had the opportunity to have worked with this inspiring lady had I not attended Niki’s Business Club.

Overall, these events offer the best networking opportunities because each meet up provides business knowledge, the opportunity to ask speakers questions that can help with decision making and also the chance to network with like-minded business women. I feel more confident in myself and in business now as I feel part of this really supportive group. I am also really lucky as a number of these women have become my friends.

Heading to Niki’s Business Club tomorrow? I’ll see you there! And if you’re interested in finding out more about my services, I’m currently booking in new clients and would love to discuss any of your interior design needs – whether it’s a colour consultation, decor and furniture selection, an Airbnb makeover or simply a second opinion, please do not hesitate to contact me at renee@reneeturner.co.uk or check out my website.
